Some new mods with pics

Since I had the camera out to take pics of the broken tow mirrors I got ....I figured I would take some pics of the other simple mods that I did this week.

First...bumper insert to hide the vararam intake scoop.


Next is the Rancho RS 9000xl shock (Not the ones that I ordered from Moe's, they are still not here)




And the big mod of the week......the wife's '07 Durango

I got the insert from LMC truck. It was pretty cheap, $70 + shipping, I think like 83 total.

I really like the shocks. The are adjustable. I have the front on 4 and back on 3 (0=softest, 9=firmest). I have not messed with the settings at all yet. I really cannot compare to stock since mine were worn out so it is a drastic improvement over what I had. The ride is smooth at these settings, but still very controlled at all times.

I want to get some new shocks and I really want the bilsteins but they are so expensive.

Rancho RS9000 are not cheap either. They are around $90 each

Last week I would have given you the back bumper. I spent all weekend sanding/primer/paint to get rid of rust bubbles. I hate living in the north.

I don't know. I will give it a try sometime when I have a chance and post up the results.
