I'm not feeling that opening so I'm thinking about doing something different. I don't want or need another glove box so I'm not putting one of those in. I'm thinking about putting a cubby net in front of it. I'd put the actual mounts just inside the opening using two sided tape at first to see if I really like it. What do you think?

Not my thing but I get your point. I just toss work gloves in it. I wish it was deeper and had a bit more of a slant to make it more useful otherwise.

Had a Bronco 2 with that years ago and hated it . I felt like I was in a base model every time I got in. First thing I did was order the OE glove box door on my previous Ram. Not my thing either

That would work well if you off-road a lot. I don't know if you saw the thread where I recently put some toolbox liner on the bottom of my cubby, and now stuff stays where I put it. Before, anything I put in there would slide back and forth every time I turned, and sometimes fly out completely.

Made a template with printer paper, cut it to fit, and put some 3M mounting tape on each side underneath it to hold it in place.

I think it looks nicer too with the dark contrast, sort of matches the rest of the interior.

That does look nice and I might do that too. But I'm just looking for a way to dress that area up a little. I don't really keep anything in there. It would be more for looks. My wife uses it for her purse when we go out but that's it.

It looks so boring. Has anyone done anything to dress it up besides put a upper glove box in?
