Sound System Whine

Installed new sound system in my 08. Power amp, 12" sub,. 6 new speakers. Im getting a whine through the system that varies with rpm. Gonna run it back to the shop but it will be a few days before they can look at it. Any ideas, maybe suggestions for a noise filter and where to put it?

It could be one or more of several things. Your install shop should have never let it out of their shop like that and I would question their ability.

I've seen this type of issue before. A lot of times it is caused by a poor ground.

A Noise Filter is just a band-aid approach covering up a larger problem. It is usually used only as a last resort.
