Just wondering what kind of sparks plugs to run when putting a procharger on? Procharger themselves says to run 1 step colder plug, but when I asked my tuner he said they do not need to be changed. Just curious on everyones thoughts. Its a 2018 5.7

I can't answer your question, OP, but I'm fascinated by what you're doing with that Hydro Blue rig!

Ive always at least 1 step cooler plugs when going force induction, or when Im adding more boost to an already FI vehicle. The only time I did not was on my BMW 335xi, but that ran E85 so the fuel offset the need.

Some recommend just re-gapping the plugs, others recommend 1 step colder. Whipple actually recommends 2 steps colder which I believe is a little overboard.

Personally I would go with 1 step down with the proper gap, around .028”.

Denso 3381's are 1 step colder then the stock plugs.I know a copper plug is the recommended plug if you're running nitrous, not sure about boost, but i'd think they'd work good for boost to.

I’m running the NGK LZTR6AIX. One step colder and still the iridium.

Irridium plugs are not recommended for nitrous Dan,might be okay with boost though, but i'd even question that.

Honestly I haven’t heard anything saying iridium is not recommended for boost. Plugs whipple sent with the kit were iridium, edelbrock recommends just using factory plugs on their supercharger kits. Factory hellcat plugs are iridium as well.
