spec d halo projector headlights

Hey guys, so dome may know I took my spec d's out and restored my original headlights and added PIAA xtreme whites, well I was looking at them plugged in (trucks wired already) and noticed the drls and halo rings are only on with my brights, when the pictures show just aux lights, it has the drl's and halo rings on

Anybody know anything? Maybe wire into my turn signals?

I've been away for awhile so I'm not sure what you've been up to with your lights, is that pic with your specds in? I can't get mine to look like that

Yeah they are my spec ds, sorry I haven't been on in awhile, rewired to my running lights so when I turn on just the running lights (stock would be side amber lights, whatever you want to call them) so they turn on then I can turn my headlights on,
