Hey guys, I have a 2012 Ram 1500 5.7 hemi for a few months now I have been in and out at the dodge dealership their is a squeak from the engine compartment at first I thought maybe it's the belt or alternator but no it keeps coming back! The dealer changed the belt, alt, tensioner, idler pully, water pump, all brand new and the squeak comes back this is driving me insane this last time I took the rig to the dealer they said they found what's wrong there is debris in the pully but not serpentine belt debris I'm thinking how does that happen please help?????

I have a S&B cold air intake /BT Catch can/ Front grill gaurd that covers the whole bumper so no lower front valence? Maybe that's the cause of the debris but idk thanks for any input

Hmmm that could be the culprit do you recommend an aftermarket fan clutch assembly or get a new OEM one? I'm going to look into this ASAP

dodge is the only company that doesnt use an electic fan..i cant reccomend anything specific but im pretty sure there are people on here who've added those and remove the motor driven jet turbine

check the 6.4 hemi thread..the guy with the pw was in there

Don't know man...start her up, and pop the hood open.

Put some wd 40 on the belt to see if that helps?

You could always order yourself a e fan off of the 2012 v6 rams pull your clutch one off pull the ac one off drop the e fan in and plug it into the ac fan plug and you are good to go

There was a thread awhile back documenting a squeak from a transition line mount or cable mount IIRC. It took forever for the technicians to track down.
