squished pipe removed

took out the squished part of the pipe . much better flow little different sound . didn't feel no gains tho. but still happy with it .

Good job on getting rid of that restrictive ass stock y pipe!

If you want real gains just put some protein powder in there.

Good job I have done this on 2 rams and its tight in there not easy to make it all fit right and not touch anything. :waytogo:

I did the same thing and wish I would have done it sooner. I installed a Super 44 muffler a while back and love the sound but it did have a little drone in the cab. A few weeks ago I took it back to the muffler shop and had them cut the crappy factory y pipe and the squished pipe that goes under the transmission off...they extended the pipes back behind the crossmember and did a high flow cat for me. I also didn't notice any performance gains but the sound is deeper and all of the drone in the cab is gone!
