I bought a 2013 truck that PO took out drivers seat air bag ( for whatever reason) my question is can I jump wires under seat so light will go off on dash without setting off other srs bags? Don't need negative comments please

I think once you disconnect power, you can do anything to the airbags you want. My recommendation is to replace the drivers seat airbag thus addressing the light and a potential safety concern.

Ps, if you go to trade the truck, the removal of the bag and light will impact value, however if you don't replace and jump wires and someone is injured due to your actions you could be held liable.

Unless the truck is 100% off road and is not to be tagged as an over the road vehicle, your asking for trouble.

My opinion

My opinion just to make you happy . You are pretty demanding for someone looking for free help , from others who want nothing from you .

Don't know why people have to be so negative, if you don't know the information I'm asking for, why do you feel it's required to post things that are not relevant to the question. And I do know the risks that I'm taking. (PS it's the airbag thats in the drivers side seat back)

With all due respect, taking on the liability of helping you in a public forum on how to alter a federally mandated safety system is not something most people will do, regardless of their knowledge.
