as some of you know i managed to pick up a srt 10 wing oem from a local guy....it was black the color of my truck and scratched up a lil bit, so i sanded it down and painted it with some krylon fusion, im not completely satisfied with the paint but thats fixable....well heres some pics.....

thats the only way to mount it, even the 10's have holes drilled in the rails for them....its covered with the wing all the time now except when i need it off....

The daytona wing is the same way, you are supposed to drill through the bed rails.

normally i wouldn't do something like that but i liked the look it gives, its subtle and street not ricer and big....i got these black plugs if i ever decide to take it off they will pop into the holes and you really wont be able to see em....

hell, and you can get some plastic bed rails if anything else........

Looks real good on there!

I hope you painted the holes after drilling them. On my 07 I did but not good enough and they started to rust. So I bought a set of plastic bed covers to put on before I traded it in.

clear fingernail polish....is what i used, jim, i would love a front facia hood and bumper and im good....jay m., i will make sure i go out and put more on thanks for the advice...and jj that is a good idea about the plastic rails...

I have a hook up with srt hoods. I really think you can mount that spoiler with black mastic. But that is really nasty stuff. I would of drilled them as well. Looks really good Jjay!!

its super close but no, im thinking about picking up a can of duplicolor and giving it another coat....

Is it too late to get a picture of the underneath? where it bolts up? Sure would like the nut set up.I'm thinking wing nuts,no pun intended,on the bottom rail.Even pix of the rail would be good jason.

thats an idea too teach...rocket i posted 2 where the holes are...and yes i used wings, and threaded rod i tightened them with a pair of pliers though noones stealing that *****...

the dealer will give you duplicolor. i like the look jay. im a little jealous. i think the rattle clear will dissapoint you if not done right. it can look textured and dusted. take your time bud.
