My point is there is. NO WAY your truck was level with 6,000 lbs in the bed unless you had airbags.

No air bags, just the Cummins under the hood, and my father who wanted to get this done before the monsoons showed up 2 years ago

It could have been a slight under level, let’s just say, I didn’t grab a tape measure and hit all 4 corners, but it wasn’t bumper dragging low. Even thurens site says 6k is about 4” drop. Which seems about right. So based off that, and a 2 1/2” front lift making it level, would be about 1 1/2” below level in the rear at 6k

Payload for my Ram 3500 is 6200#'s Without anything added and i'll be damn if I pay money to add anything to it. Sorry I buy the right size truck for the job and not have to buy aftermarket stuff and then it still not do the job and not be legal.
