Has anyone ever refinished a steering wheel?
Specifically a wood/leather one from a Limited trim truck.
I know they are heated so I wasnt sure how that interacts with removing/replacing/restitching the leather. Also not sure if the wood part is heated as well, and if it is how thick is the wood before you get to the heating elements?
Found a beat up used one, dont mind investing the time to clean it up but if the heat wont work for one reason or another (either its broken already or I go too far and break it myself), its probably not worth it.
