I got a tick tick sound when turning after having a new rack installed?....ideas what it is?

Noise coming from the steering wheel or outside? Any warning lights on?

No lights....coming up the column.... could it be the joint connecting the rack??

If it’s rubbing on something maybe. Could also be the clock spring. That’ll sound like it’s right behind the steering wheel.

Why did they replace the rack to begin with.

It was leaking

When ever I hear of a clicking on the front end, I always think CV joint.
