Sticky steering wheel cover?

The air bag cover on the steering wheel of my 94 truck has become sticky to the touch. I think the plastic is degrading. Anyone else have this condition? Were you able to correct/solve/restore the cover? Thanks!

I'd grab a good one from a U-Pull-It. That's what I did on my 94. Easy swap.

Keep in mind this will discolour it, but with degraded plastic I've had good luck using acetone on a rag to get rid of the stickiness. Spot test first, but if you aren't bothered on how it looks just tired of sticky hands it should work no problem.
