Might be time to buy some weight loss accessories to keep on the side just in case.Diesel Users, Suppliers Warn of Shortage of DEF Additive - RVBusiness - Breaking RV Industry News
When it comes to RVing, there’s really no substitute for diesel power. Whether it’s a diesel-pusher motorhome or diesel-powered pickup towing a fifth-wheel or travel trailer, the torque capabilities of a diesel engine — along with the attendant upgrades to drivetrains and suspensions that are...rvbusiness.com
I'm with you. I'll personally keep one spare box around just in case but won't go out and buy a bunch. Buying when you are about 50% allows you to ride shortages without causing them.Stocking up during a shortage ensures a crisis. My opinion. Use what you need. Keep tank full. But stocking up isn’t healthy even in an already manipulated market, respectfully. I need gas, diesel, and def to make a living every day. But so do many many others. So, stockpiling isn’t necessarily a wise move to make.
Seriously??!! And what is the latest conspiracy theory that supports this statement? It's already effecting the trucking industry; it's only going to get worse with the current administration too
Thanks for that info and now I am curious if this will cause issues with the DEF system. I live in Buckeye and will not be driving my truck a lot.Per TSB 25-006-13

Kept below 70F not exactly a Short shelf life at 11 years. Even 86F at almost 2 years isn't a short shelf life. Those of in Phoenx probably want to empty our tanks over the summer if possible and put fresh in the tank in the fall.
There is a video of the head of Flying J/Pilot testifying that BNSF railroad had told them to adjust their orders lower by 26%.Seriously??!! And what is the latest conspiracy theory that supports this statement?

Idiocracy was supposed to be a movie not a premonition....SMH
The correct response would be, "Where do they make brains?????????????????????????"Where do they make brains!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Which has nothing to do with the current administration but rather, corporate gouging and Wall Street greed. There is a video of the head of Flying J/Pilot testifying that BNSF railroad had told them to adjust their orders lower by 26%.
The railroads have come out and said they will be transporting less of DEF as well.
Just fill the tank with water, the computer wont know the difference, the water will vaporize and not bother anyone
I listed to that testimony, from the CEO of Pilot and I cannot recall what the reduction was caused by. The railroad said the volume they transport was going to be reduced, but I do not remember who told the railroad to cut back. It had to be somebody with considerable pull.
Yeah, I'm sure shutting down all production in the US and rallying the end of fossil fuels as "growing pains" to transition out of fossil fuel into electric had nothing to do with it? lolWhich has nothing to do with the current administration but rather, corporate gouging and Wall Street greed.
