Wow those laws are dumb lol. In MA ANY blue light is Police, red is fire/ems. you cannot run blue lights on your POV UNLESS you are a cop and your on a detail or something. Most decked out volunteer in my town have Red/White. and you MOVE out of their way or there will be hell to pay if a cop sees you. Basicaly these people are saving some ones life get the hell out of their way. and our police cars are 100% blue now, maybe one red light, but its simple here. Blue is cops, Red is EMS and all are permitted to respond code 2, or 3 - even POV.

My strobes are Amber and white as I am not affiliated with anything. I just like to have them in case of roadside emergencies or bad snow storms but its not illegal to have them. It is illegal to have red or blue flashing lights in this state if you dont have a permit even if they are not lit, owning them and mounting them is 100% illegal.

your truck to me looks like an undercover cop car, you would move traffic like a boss in my state with that set up haha

Most people do yield to me as a common courtesy - I might just be going to their house. Those that don't, I just have to stay behind them until I get to where I'm going. Our laws regarding this are out of date and are in drastic need of being updated. There have been petitions going around to change the laws, some saying make it so we can have a siren - I don't even care about that honestly. My biggest reason is for on scene safety, especially on the Interstate. I travel a 40 mile portion of I-70 constantly where the most accidents happen out of the Interstate's entire nationwide stretch. But since PA isn't even competent enough to pass a state budget, I doubt anything happens with the law.

WTAE Channel 4 news did aired a report recently where PSP is not just cracking down on personal vehicles but department trucks as well. Some department chiefs vehicles in the area have similar lighting setups like my truck and are now being told to remove them. Even a City of Pittsburgh parking enforcement vehicle was stopped for having an amber LED dash light instead of an exterior mounted light bar.

This makes no sense to me. Your rank means nothing if some ones life is on the line. Code 3 should be acceptable and not questioned. People dont always see lights, thats why you need a siren. This is one more way it seems the local government gives more power to "actual" law enforcement. That has to be frustrating trying to respond and some ******** dosnt move..

POV's here are straight up decked the Fk out lol. like people spend thousands on upfitting and seeing one scream by rolling code 3 is crazy lol

on another note. I will post up a video of my Prostrobes during the day. I want to get you guys take on how well these things cut through the sun

Figured I'd throw my setup out here too. I also highly recommend Feniex products. I'm an EVT installer as well and I've had a few of my customers switch from Whelen / Fed Signal etc over to Feniex. Also outfitted our station pickup trucks with all Feniex equipment.

How did you mount the light heads down by your step bars? Been needing some side lighting for mine for a while now.

Those are Feniex Apollo F12 modules. I bought the L brackets for them. I had to slight bend them so the light aims upward enough. Then just marked the holes for the L brackets where I wanted them and used self tapping screws to secure the brackets. Then just mounted the light to the bracket.

That would work too. My only recommendation being that they are small modules (although bright) would be to have them the same color and flash at the same time.

Yes they will be red all 4. And each side will either be flashing together or alternating with each other. Also i have a couple of hideaway strobes in my fogs. They are synced however the one starts out with the red/ white alternating flash and then the red cuts out after a few mins and the white is all that flashes..... Could be a bad flasher module?
