:chair:i’ve gone though my new suspension “installed by a shop” and re-tq’d everything. Let’s say I’m lacking the confidence they did all of it correct. So the stupid question is...... can I loosen my shocks on top and basically verify they were tightened 2 full turns? truck on ground or need to be on jacks? I’m thinking I can just loosen and retighten but wanted to be sure. Yep thanks and I’ll be waiting for the dumb dumb comments for such a stupid question lol

All suspension gets tightened under load. You’re safe loosening everything except for the front lower control arms. You’ll want to re torque all the bolts again after 500 miles too

I had a coilover suspension put on my leaf sprung Jeep Wrangler. The 'Professional Shop' didnt even put nuts on several components, and every turnbuckle was loose as heck! Whats worse is he claimed the Jeep was 'trail ready'.

Sucks you can’t trust anybody to do the work correct.
