I'm new to the Hemi world. I'm used to working on engines with half the displacement and one head haha. Ok, so I see the standard location for these catch cans mounted between the pcv and the throttle body, but what about the hose going from the oil filler to the air box? Is this not part of the pcv system too? Thanks for any info. I have my flame suit on and ready.

The purpose of a catch can is to stop oil from getting in the intake manifold. If there is a hose from the oil filter to the air box, the air filter will stop any oil from going into the intake manifold so theres no need to do anything there.

You can also just cap off the plastic nipple on the factory airbox and use a breather filter at the oil cap. Vararam does this with their cold air intake kit and includes the breather filter.
