Probably just me, but I was ambivalent on the enjoyment factor. I actually like that at least the last 2 years Rams tow the floats in the Macy's parade. Don't hate me, just didn't really watch much anyway since my Bills weren't there.

I'm interested in Ramcharger. It would fit our family needs well because most of our trips are just a few miles but we do travel throughout the area towing our trailer to several art festivals in the summer. A truck that we can charge at home and use little to no gas 30 weeks out of the year but be just as capable as a gas vehicle those other 20 weeks fits the bill perfectly.

My concern is price. The Silverado EV is a laughable $100k. The mortgage on my home isn't that much, I'm not going to spend that on a vehicle. $50k - $60k is about all I'm willing to spend. If they can get the price down in that range through incentives, rebates and what-not and the truck is actually reliable and not an electrical/computer nightmare I might just pull the trigger.

Being a realist I'm betting this thing is going to be in the $80k - $100k range and be unaffordable to the people who would actually use it. Also knowing the joke that e-torque is I'm very skeptical about the ability of Stellantis to build an EV or hybrid that isn't an absolute POS.

So you didnt watch the beat down of the ages on the team that has basically owned your team for 5 years including the 13 second game? bad on you, 126 million people tuned in, lol. They own my team as well, lifelong niner fan I didn't mind that game one bit.

I like super bowl commercials, they push the envelop on what is "politically" correct. Ram is gonna have to find a way to be a cultural type product because the trucks just aren't being built for truck guys. With ram poll showing 1 in 6 guys prefer the hemi to the hurricane, they gonna have to huff and puff and blow the house down or get some new customers. I like the Ford commercial as well, almost didn't even see him plug in the jeep, lol.

I just was folding tired, just driven 12 hours over two days and returned an hour before the game and had to be up at 5am to head to work. I was less than enthusiastic about doing anything but sitting down and just resting my eyes.

For my Bills, I look at it this way: with the loss at the end ticket prices won't skyrocket and I can get decent seats a couple times next year.

I am with you. I am interested in this as I think it could be a good fit for my usage in the future. I am concerned about price as well, but I am fine with Tradesman level so hope to get it cheaper. But will be a 2027 or later (If ever) purchase probably if I buy.

One of the better commercials during the Super Bowl but I think the best Ram Truck forever! Am I wrong? :)

I remember the days when Sam Elliot, in his low, baritone voice proclaimed "Guts! Glory! RAM! during the commercial.

Bob Segar Sang "Like a Rock" while the film showed a Chevy 1/2 ton 1500 on a construction site having a boulder dropped from a crane, into the bed from about 3 feet up, and then driving out of the dirt lot, throwing up a cloud in it's wake....

Ford bloviated about how theirs was the best by alluding to them (at that time) having year after year number one sales for all 1/2 ton pickups, all the while exclaiming "Ford F-150! Texas Tough!"

The RAM truck was also a part of the ED commercial where a guy was hauling horses in a trailer on his ranch, gets stuck in a muddy section of the road, gets the horses out, hitches the horses to the front of the truck/trailer combo, pulls the rig clear of the mud, and puts the horse BACK into the trailer and proceeds on to the stables and puts the horses and trailer away. I guess men who solve complex problems get better results from the blue pill.

AHH! Subliminal advertising! Ya just GOTTA love it! Now, how manly can I be driving a KIA?! HMM?

Yeah, unfortunately as a NY Giants fan, I was in a no-win situation. Did not want to see a 3-Peat but COULD NOT root for Philly!

I was team Meteor Strike!
