One of the reasons I didn’t get the TRX is I’m not really into the whole over-the-top Offroad crazy package.
But if there’s a go to supercharger add on that everybody’s familiar with that makes sense I appreciate hearing about it.

thank you

I did the Edelbrock TVS2300 kit. I haven’t built the motor or anything, so I figured this kit would be the most mild forced induction way to go. I enjoy the heck out of it.

Depends on your plans, I suppose. There’s definitely lots to produce more power based on your goals.

Edit: This was in a 4th gen. I’d guess you could make it work if no kit.

I was ready to pull the trigger on a SC, but all the horror stories made me bail.

I want to keep my truck as long as possible.

I imagine we need to be prepared to do a little build up on the transmission

They said if you just do the stage 1 you won’t need to. I don’t tow with my truck but I would assume if I towed some Thing AND had a SC I may need some transmission work

One after another people are reporting that the rings are gapped to tightly and are fine but if you over work the engine the gap closes up and bye bye cylinder.

Seems like they get some miles maybe like 10k to 30k. I rather keep my truck longer than that.

Maybe its over hyped but its enough for me back out.

Open the ring gaps up, speed is not cheap. If you wanna play it will cost, better to pay upfront and be in control of **** as much as possible, then cheap out on the job and whine afterwards.
