I purchased a used 2015 ram 1500 in 2021 with 115k miles . The head cracked at 150k miles. I then realized the motor in my truck was a junk yard motor when I bought it. so I purchased a motor with 40k miles and swapped it out yesterday with the help of my dad and two brothers, and uncle. After the install of the new motor we turned it on and the motor sounded good. But the transmission is not in sync with the shifter. We made Manuel adjustments to the transmission but it's defiantly not road worthy. Any help on the subject is greatly appreciated. 20220611_153404.jpg20220611_153350.jpg20220611_132411.jpg

Doesn't sound like you changed the transmission so it should not be much of a job to get the shifter and transmission back in sync. What did you disconnect from the transmission when you were replacing the motor, other than oil and cooling lines? I would start with the last thing disconnected and work backwards.
