Swapping out transmission coolers

I am wanting to know if the transmission coolers can be swapped out and are the cooler lines the same size if I use the cooler from a 1 ton truck on my 1/4 ton truck. I want to use the bigger cooler as it will keep the transmission fluid cooler. Thanks for any info you may share on this.

Yes, the trans cooler from a 1 ton hemi will bolt right into 1/2 ton. Observe:
