Got me a package from JJ today.

Would have thrown them on today but I had class tonight 7-10. They will definiely be going on Saturday!

So would these be worth getting if my 08 lights have that signal light stalk and my housing's are black? (So they don't reflect light as good as the chrome)

Also the ****** thing is, my lights are always on because of my DRL's, so i'll always have my HID brights on during the day. I'd be worried that the switchbacks light will be drowned out by the HID.

Well send me a invoice ... I need another bow .. I will take the switchback xt in a 28.5 draw set at 70 pounds .

I didn't fire these up when I had them in the 07 lights , but I think it would be hard pressed for anything to block the light out these. Holy CRAP they are bright!

Switchbacks drowned out by HIDs? If you have the parking lights on, you aren't in DRL mode anymore right? I don't know how them crazy canadian trucks work, LOL

Cant wait to get my set in a week or so. Thinking painting them silver would look good. I just wanna know more on which wires to splice and all.

you want to splice into the turn wire. ground the other side.

Typically, the turn is the one furthest from the ground. Normally its Ground, Park, Turn.

The positaps will be too large for this. They are a bigger gauge.

I got my switchbacks painted and installed today. Install was a breeze. I'd say they are not quite 6k...really closer to 5k in person. But they look GOOD!

Scuffed with a scotch brite and just primed, painted and cleared. Taping was...well fun.
