Wow! Equivalent USD is ~ $350!

What's with the huge cost in CA?

He ordered 12 gallons of RL 5w-30, at $65USD a piece that comes out to 780$? Plus the 12 RP filters, then shipping and border fees and converting to CAD after all that. His price makes sense to me, still hurts though lol.

How much is Mobil 1 FS 0W-40 in Canada?
Almost $70 per jug plus tax

I doubt that'll be hard given your lack of knowledge.

Sounds like lamenting to me. You can still "focus and enjoy", yet you choose to be here.

And yet, I don't see the folks on BITOG pointing fingers over here. In fact, most of BITOG doesn't even know that RamForum exists. So then, this begs the question: who is the "extreme clique of close-minded haters"?

Yep, it does hurt, but I still saved about $400 CDN doing it this way.
I'm now good for six oil changes, and will get another 12 gallons of the RL 5W30 from Summit Racing after my wallet recovers from this purchase.

the redline store regular price is 13 a qrt for 0w30 for anyone wanting to try it. That isnt the price they retail it on their site, but what they charge amazon customer free shipping. Until and if their is a bad result, this still is a top choice imo.

for comparison, what is super car hpl 0w30? I have no idea how much that costs, google didnt help me out on that.

is this it? 200 bucks a case, but with ram forum 15 it should be 170. So basically only a dollar more per quart, with that great formula I can see why some of you would chose that.

I found it. For six quarts of High Performance Lubricants Super Car 0w/30 is $100. 85. So that's $16.80 a quart.

So, with discount for members is 15%? That would make six quarts $85.73. So, we one quart is about $14.30 ...

Yeah, this is a short time ago when Red Line went price nuts and was selling ~ $16+ a quart, remember? I think that's what drove the initial look see for alternatives.

I was wondering what I had paid for Red Line 5w/30 last year.

I dug out my receipt for the three gallons of Red Line 5w/30 that I purchased from the folks that @HEMIMANN (EliteRaceFab) had issues with his order and their price back in March last year for the three gallons was $126.24. I thought that that was reasonable back then ... the days of good service and fair prices are gone out the window.

To sum it all up, Amsoil is the better fully synthetic oil with Pennzoil Ultra coming in a close second. However, the price difference between the two is quite significant. So Pennz is the better choice.

It is impossible to sum up 4,676 pages of this thread like that! Unless you started reading it when you joined

Unless your Hemi sounds like a rock crusher on it, like my 6.4 did. Thanks for the oversimplification.
