I have a 2017 Ram 1500 Sport I bought last year. My current tail lights are LED and I've been having issues when I brake I get a message that either my left, my right or both tail lights are out but when I check, they're fine. Lately though my left tail light hasn't been working and I get a fast blinker but if I disconnect it and reconnect the tail light, it's good to go again. I did take it to a dealership and they couldn't figure out what was going on other than to say that if it continues, I should replace with OEM tail lights which doesn't really help since I don't know what type of tail lights are OEM on my vehicle.
Anyway I was looking at purchasing replacement tail lights in hopes of fixing this issue, my dilemma is how do I know what kind of factory tail light I had/have? (LED, Halogen, what?) Thanks in advance!
