    No suh, not quite that old. I was in the peacetime Military, entered in 1976. One of my best friends was in 1st ID and also worked with the Americal Division, his first tour 11B, second tour: Sniper. He got some real OMG stories for sure. He retired in like 91, he is one of the best rifle shooters I have ever shot against, and no matter how hard I try, I cannot outshoot him, LOL.

    My advise is don't even try to out shoot him. my tour worked with the 1st ID, 101st airborne, an company level combat intelligence. they begged me to re-enlist, but hell no. spent 18 months in Germany, came home and the rest is history.

    I spent almost 10 years in GE, luved it, was there Wall Up and Wall down, got considerably lousy when wall went down, Personal Observation, all IMHO.....

    3rd cav for me. when they were stationed at ft. carson 02-06 and not hood where the acting base commander, regimental commander, and command sgt major created a fucked up toxic command climate which caused the death of that specialist.
