Alright guys. I am looking for some rough estimates on what it would cost to get my tailgate fixed and painted. I have two dents, smaller than dimes, but will need more than just PDR to fix. So what should I be looking at to have the dents fixed and the tailgate repainted?

I just got an estimate to have my tailgate repainted, the Ram emblem removed, the indentation and holes patched for $300. Hope that helps!

Yeah. I have seen some complete tailgates for sale from parts yards that are $500+, so this seems like a better option.

Agreed. A couple hundred should cover it easily. Especially if they can just spot repair.

My body guy/painter won't even take his paint gun down off the wall for less than $150 so I would think for a couple of small dents, preparing tailgate and paint and materials you're going to be looking at $400-$500. Just a guess without seeing the "small dents".

They are hard to see because of the reflection, but here are the dents. The top one up where the driveway meets the road is blistered, almost like something pierced the truck and was pulled out, the bottom one (down a few inches and to the left, looking like a stain on the concrete) is a creased indention.
