Tailgate protector a little short but fixed it.

I just got a drop in liner for my truck yesterday. Not sure if I want a spray in. Pros and cons to both types. Anyway, the tailgate protector is a little short. That's the design of it from the way it's installed.

For me it left to much tailgate exposed when it's down so I added some black diamond plate vinyl to it. It turned out pretty nice. Tailgate closes without a problem. The width of the roll is how much is tucked underneath. When it gets warmer out maybe I'll tape it on top of the liner but for now this will work. I found the roll at Home Depot for $15. I have enough left over to cut another piece. It's 11' long.

Bed liner hasn't flattened out yet. It's only been 1 day and it's been cold.

Used the plastic liners long before spray in liners were available, never an issue. I do have spay in now though. Nice job with the diamond plate.
