I don't think there really any gains with them, pretty sure it's appearance minded...I could be wrong though.

Some companies will try to sell you on the performance benefits of these, but I bought them for my truck for looks alone. If you are due for a tune up or just want a much cleaner look, then these are great...and at only $60, they are tough to beat. They are extremely easy to install as well. Just pull your old wires out, and then the long boot on the shorties goes into the valve cover, and the other end of the wire just snaps onto the coil pack. You dont need any tools to do this...just your hands.

I don't think there really any gains with them, pretty sure it's appearance minded...I could be wrong though.

The main gains to be made are with additional upgrades in coils,spark plugs,etc... Keep in mind every little bit helps, but with many upgrades working together you get the best results.

thats what ive read. but im due for my plug wires to be replaced. im thinking i might snatch a set up. depending how hard the install is.... looks fairly simple

Taylor should come out with some colored coils to make our 4.7 coil on plug set ups look a little more pleasing to the eye...lol

If you look at the picture of these above, you will see 1 end goes into the valve cover, and the other end just snaps right onto the black coil packs that are on top of the cover. These are as easy to install as the TB was. You will hear the wire boot snap onto the plug when you push it down, and there is only 1 way for them to go on and off. Its very hard to mess them up.

What's the difference between the thundervolt and the spiro pro's?

Spiro Pro's are only 8mm and come in green, yellow, purple, and orange...and the Thundervolts are 8.2mm and come in Black, Red, and Blue

Not enough to worry about. The stock wires are 8mm as well.
