Hey y'all--
Need a little info. The "boss" wants to go on a couple day road trip over to area around Lufkin, Nac etc etc and see the country and the lakes. Looking for information about the area and any good bed and breakfast places that might be good to stay in(must allow dogs). Just sorta look'n at the country, sip'n a few and enjoy'n the drive. Maybe run over to La for a little gambl'n.

Man...I currently live in spring branch. It might take me 10 minutes to walk to the old spring branch high school/grob stadium there off of westview. I'm in between blalock and campbell.

Anyone else in Texas see the giant fireball about 10-15 minutes ago? I didn't see it personally, but my mom did. Said it looked to be the size of a car, though was probably further away than she thought. Greenish in color and a blue flame tail coming off of it. Headed towards the ground, then burned out before it got there.

hmmm, thats odd. I didnt see anything, but my dad said he saw a really bright light out the window, didnt actually see what it was. he thought it was a helicopter but didnt hear anything. not sure if its the same lol. any idea what it is?

Im pretty sure it was a meteor from what she described, or a "fireball". It burned out like a shooting star, but lasted a longer time than those do. The blue trail makes me think it was really high in the atmosphere, but for it to appear so large to her it mustve been a huge fireball.
