its like 750$. and all 100% plug in play. takes no time to install. however shipping is slow since it comes from "Chynah" but its essentially a tablet for a radio. anything you can install on a tablet can install on here. oddly enough, ac blows stronger and colder for what ever reason through this lol.

only negative i have for it right now is that waze off sets the map to the right a little if not in full screen. but i get used to it. I also added cell service to it so i dont even need to plug my phone in for it.

this is what you want for your truck. with discount code its USD$677.70
We have a similar product (Joying halo unit) in our Motorcoach and I have been thinking of upgrading my RAM 2500 to this Phoenix style setup.

On the Joying I can do split screen like your picture, but only with regular apps (I use Waze, PhoneMP3 - SiriusXM - Spotify) and not with the factory cameras which with the coach would be super beneficial. Does the Phoenix Android Auto allow you to split screen with the RAM factory cameras and your navigation?

I have a '24 Tradesman 2500HD and my Uconnect has a bad issue when I'm on a phone call or Zoom call, the call will echo and then become very garbled. I have to grab my phone and switch to the phone speaker, wait about a minute and then switch back to Uconnect and it's clear for a while and then the same thing happens. wash, rinse, repeat...

I'm not sure if I even want to bring it in for warranty if all of these have issues. I'll probably go down the aftermarket route and never look back.

What you're describing sounds more like a cell phone issue or connectivity between the phone and cell tower.

Have you verified the cell tower reception level on both the phone & Uconnect radio, tested connectivity in another location, or with another phone?

I forgot that I have a Premium EVIC. Another thought is adding an inexpensive clock.

.
One thing the miniVan had going for them was the real clock with hands in the dash. Miss those.
But I also have pocket watches cica 1920's, so that makes me a old fudd I guess.

I have a recently purchased '15 Ram Laramie with UCONNECT. It has the option for Radio (sub-pptions AM FM SXM) Media, and several others. It stays on whichever option I used when shutting down the engine. I do a lot of LD commuting and driving for work so I generally just leave it on media as my work phone is synced for calls and personal phone for podcasts. Occasionally I switch over to the radio. But it stays on whatever was the last selection when turning it off and starts with that selection when starting up.

I never use android auto on the radio as everything is local since i have tmoble service on the radio itself. however yes, every app that ive seen on here is able to be split screened. The rear camera can be turned on full screen, however it stretchs it out to being useless. There are several connections on the truck for front/rear and i believe side cameras as well. Also if you tune your truck or you can modify stuff you can edit the settings in the radio itself if you have it connected to do so correctly (Dont know how any of that works however)

i have a big horn, so i only use the rear camera. and often i just use waze and spotify/YT music split screened. once i get my truck back if you want i can make a video on it as a semi non professional review.

Yes, I can be local where I have full bars on my cell phone and Uconnect. If I switch to my phone speaker and then switch back to Uconnect, it's fine for a while and then starts over.

you will provide them with the vin and some other information of your truck and they send you everything needed to connect it.

2 screws on the top of the dash in the little pocket area, then use a interior style pry tool to pop the entire housing out. unplug everything then work backwards on the install. you will have to take the vents out of the old unit and put in the new unit. before install if you want you can add a sim card from which ever cell provider you like if you wish to have internet on the radio. i did this with tmobile. works great. makes it truly stand alone. they have install videos and setup videos as well you can look at.
Thanks again. Sounds easy enough (famous last words lol). I'll watch the vids this weekend and get a comfort level.

Hey now,better "watch" out now....lol
I bet more than half these youngins here don't even know what hands on a clock are.
My wife is in the dental field...try and ask one of these kids to read the clock on the wall and they cant....they instantly grab for their phones...shes told this a few times now.

My youngest kid was like that , at about 12 yrs old, did not know the time from the wall clock, BTW Now She is retired military and 50+ yrs . Turned out OK, other then the pains she has to put up with.
I still wear a auto watch with day and date .
One of the granddaughters wears a 1930 vintage one I gave her. Of coarse her face is in the phone as well.
