I signed up and paid the $100--assuming that that's what "Carzato-ram Www.carzato Fl" is on my card.

But it charged and cleared twice!

Does anyone know where to contact to actually get the second removed?

I suppose that I could dispute it, but I'm worried that that cancer the spot in the queue, too.

And what they've emailed so far is explicitly REV, with no reference to Ramcharger, which I specified while signing up. Are they that far behind, or is it an additional error?

If I had to order today, it would be an F-150 powerboost, but I'd like to see what actually comes out for the ramcharger first, as it's alleged specs would be pretty much ideal for me. A plugin F-150 doesn't seem to be in the cards until the 2028 update.

(I have no use for the full electric; the plugin range is more than we drive in half a week, while none of the current full electric batteries charge fast enough for reasonable long distance).

powerboost is making the news, bad news

Ford and Lincoln are recalling nearly 91,000 models with the 2.7- and 3.0-liter EcoBoost engines that may fail.

eco-boost and powerboost are separate things.

Ecoboost is a "light" system that's using regenerative braking and kicking it back out to accelerate shortly later (grabbing the really low hanging fruit). It's used on four-bangers. The gas engine is always on (well; when moving, it has start/stop).

Powerboost is a hybrid that can actually run on electric, charge permitting, particularly at low speeds, and supplement with accumulated charge as well. It uses a 3.5L v6. The engine turns on and off like other "parallel hybrids.

And I really prefer the notion of a serial hybrid like the ramcharger, although reading the enthusiast fora for the plugin Wrangler is giving me pause, given the shared overlords . . .

(and I suspect that it's 91,000 vehicles, rather than models. :laughing1:)
