I wound up buying these off amazon. They were $10. for the pair for the small pouches. To test it I put the fob in the pouch and closed it then got into the truck and tried to start it and the dash showed "no fob present" and would not start. While sitting in the truck I removed the fob from the pouch and I was able to start the engine like normal. The pouch does what it's supposed to do. Where I keep my keys in the house is in close proximity to the truck so I'll keep the fobs in the pouch when at homeScreenshot_20230128_074854_Amazon Shopping.jpg

I've watched a bunch of videos on this. It seems like apart from the faraday box you should also park the front up against the garage door so the thief can't get infront of it to get in through the grill to cut the horn (if you cant park inside the garage) . Also the IGLA anti theft seems to be a good option.

I just learned about RAM moving the horn to an accessible area near the grill on the newer trucks. On my 2018 (and older trucks) the horn is buried halfway up in the fender making it inaccessible.
Seems like they took a step backwards on security.

Yikes, I had no idea fobs were that easy to hack. Thanks for posting. Good thing I live in the #1 state for car theft. We had our rigs broken into 3 different times across 6 months '21-'22 here in Colorado, at 3 different locations. And CO is only #2 for vehicle break-ins. Off to amazon...

Today was the first time that i pushed the LOCK button on the drivers door master switch, before closing it.
I just had to remember not to use the FOB to lock it
The thing is, i have the Passive FOB, where you insert the FOB into ignition, so the FOB is in your hand & i want to use the door lock in busy parking lots.
modern day problems, hehe
