I don’t have much more to offer than what everyone else is suggesting with using AlfaOBD. Are you able to make ANY other changes at all? Try something simple, like doors- global down. I can’t see how a 4500/5500 would be any different.
You are correct on the harness for lows on with highs. There needs to be two diodes- one on the jumper wire going in the direction of the low beam wire, and one on the low beam wire before the jumper going in the direction of the headlight.

@Jimmy07 i get the same “unit not supported” with any feature i try to change. Using “non powernet MY 2006-2012” for a 1500-4500 truck.

Id try to send it all back, get a set of used oem projectors for $300-500 and put the GTR 55w plug and play HID’s in with LED high beams. Enjoy the wicked light output and put the $1000 back in your bank account.

From the sounds of it even if he did that he'd still have the same problem. I think he had everything working but wanted the low's to stay on with the highs. At this point he can't use alphaobd to change his programming from duals to quads to have it done through the bcm. So he bought JJ's high beam adapter. Unfortunately he got a Friday/Monday built one. Looks like someone left out a diode. Hopefully when he gets the replacement it will be the end of his issues. I will say if he's running morimoto hid's that he probably should junk those and get something different.
