In November of 2019 I was looking at used F150s, cruised the lot at the FCA dealer and looked at a RAM 1500 Laramie just out of curiosity. Long story short, the Ram will be 3 in Novemeber has 42000 miles and zero complaints. Oil changes at 10% oil life (usually about 8500 mi.) I do my own changes and use full synthetic and WIX filters. Recently pulled a loaded 24' enclosed car hualer from Michigan to Florida, no problems, handled the load like it wasn't there, bad news 7-8mpg. Heard diesels aren't much better loaded. The OEM tires on mine were Bridgestone and I didn't care for them recently replaced with Continental Terrain Contact AT. This truck will be with me for a long time. Part of the decision was also from our other vehicle a 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan RT. 11 yrs old 200,000 miles and is still an awesome car.
This truck tows very well but I recommend an aftermarket trailer brake controller if you tow.
