I am thinking of upgrading from a 2013 1500 to a 2018 Power Wagon. I don't need the beast, but it sure looks good. Any input from the group will be graciously accepted.

Saw one in the showroom of the dealership where I bought mine last week. It was indeed a Beast.. I laughed when I opened the door and the step came to my knee. I would have to use a step ladder to get in it.. Otherwise It was awesome. Interior was a little sparse but who cares.

It's a bad a$$ truck for sure, but you have to be good with about 12-13mpg (on a good day) and stopping at the gas station a lot more often.

Well if you want "The Ultimate Driving Machine" of four wheel drive pickups go for it. I know that they hold there value extremely well and they will easily go places that even a Ford Raptor would not want to go. Definitely miles more capable than your 1/2 ton.

Hand calculated, and rough average. Some were 14.2, and one was 15.7 (all highway, and around 70 mph). I think the DVIC reads higher, but haven't paid much attention due to not yet trusting the fuel gauge, since their has been reported issues of the tank being calculated to be 26 gallons incorrectly. Mine seems to know it is 32 gallons, but at an 1/8 of a tank, it still has 12 gallons in it. My low fuel light comes on when I have 50-55 miles to go, and so far, that has been correct.

My current MPG rith now is 14 city and 17 Hwy. My 2013 has the 6 speed and does not have MDS. Does your truck have MDS? Does MDS even make a difference?

Hmm old truck, or most capable off road truck from the factory? Dunno, seems like an easy choice.

My sticker says that it has MDS, but I haven't noticed it kicking in. My other car is a Hellcat Challenger 6-speed, so it may have something to do with my driving style.
