Third Brake Light Low power? 2010 1500

I have had issues with the third brake light not allowing LED lights to be powered. I have used resisters and also checked the wiring and all seems sound, however when I attempt to install LED (third brake light bulbs as well as bed lights using third brake light power wire as a source) the LED lights barley work and are very dim. I took the LEDs and tested them off other power (reverse light wiring and trailer hitch wiring) and they light up great. very confused and cant figure out why the third brake light is the only one that wont power the lights. ANY help is greatly appreciated!

I use LED's for that function with no issues. I got the "canbus" ones from superbrightled, and they work great. There is a possibility the ones you have a polarity sensitve, and maybe need to be turned 180 in the socket.
