Thoughts On my Sub setup!? Need Advice

I am trying to determine the best plan of attack to achieve a more well rounded/louder bass setup in my new 2015 Dodge Ram Big horn (New to me but bought used with equipment already installed).

The existing system consists of the following

-Stock head unit (I do not have the alpine option)
-alpine MRV-500
-2 ten inch alpine subwoofers in an enclosed box under my rear passenger seats.

Can this amp support better subwoofers (have my eye on the alpine type r’s) and if so would it require them to be 2ohm or 4ohm? The existing setup has two 4ohm subwoofers that appear to be single voice coils which leads me to believe that they are in parallel to get them down to 2ohm? I am new to this all.

If this amp is not sufficient.. which amp will fit under my drivers seat to support more powerful subwoofers?

You can upgrade to a better amp but if you really want to get good bass you’re probably looking at changing out both.

These crutchfield wiring diagrams make it easy to figure out what you need.

2- 2ohm dvc can be wired to 2 ohm
Or
2-4 ohm svc can be wired to 2 ohm

Double check that though lol
If you go to 2 type r alpines you would probably wanna upgrade the amp and you can mount it on the back wall if you dont have the room under the seat
