Throttle body questions

I have been curious about this guys. My dad is planning on upgrading his throttle body on his 6.1 Challenger. Im curious if it would fit in my Ram. Do any if you guys know if this would work.

Yeah I just seen that even if it would it's still just an 80mm.

If you are going to change TB, get a professinally C&C ported one from a reputable speed shop like Moe's perfromance. You've got a 2012 so you can go with an 85mm if you do not plan on headers, or the 87mm if you are going all the way with mods.

Do not get a through cut larger diameter (e.g. BBK) unless you're building a car for the strip--and then you'll need a custom tune because your air/fuel ratio will be way out.

Unfortunately, the car and truck TB's up to 2012 are different. From 2013-up, all cars, Jeeps, Durangos, and Rams use the same TB.

That's what I was afraid of. I figured if it would bolt up and would be and upgrade in size. I would just split him on the cost of his new throttle body. But it looks like we both will be spending some money on throttle bodies pretty soon
