Throttle body spacer

So does anybody know if throttle body spacers actually work like they say they do? (enhance low to mid-range power, torque, and fuel efficiency) If so I was planning on buying an airaid tbs for my 5.7l unless anybody recommends another brand

Well thanks for saving me 130 bucks lol, I thought it was too good to be true, I mean a little piece of metal with a big hole and some threading helping that much was a little far fetched

Back on the older TBI engines, where the injectors are actually on the throttle body, they work...but not on these trucks. I think most people use them for spray or whatever
