First off new to the forums, just got my dads 2001 ram 1500 after he passed away that I am trying to get back into shape.

When driving it randomly the pedal just doesn't want to go down. You'll be cruising at light throttle and need alittle extra and the pedal feels as if a rock is behind it. After you left off and put your foot in it with a little effort it will clear up, and then it wont happen again for a little while. Any ideas what this could be? This truck only has 54,000miles on it however it is up here in Ohio and abit rusty. Sat for the past 2 years.
Any help is appreciated! Thanks.

Check the throttle cable and pedal assembly. Could be rusty or need oiling. Also could be the throttle blade sticking or tps sticking
