there is a noticeable thump when the ac compressor cycles when i have the defrosters on. can feel it and hear it. it did it when i first got the truck, scared the **** out of me till i figured out what it was. changed the serpentine belt and it made it a lot less noticeable, if not go away. within the last couple months, i have noticed it getting louder. obvious remedy is change the serpentine belt, but wondering if anyone else has any ideas or input as to what it might be.

that I really don't know. I have only recharged the systems in the cars/trucks I've done. Never had to add any oil to them.

The oil we have always done has been when charging the system or if its a new head made sure it shipped with oil.

I have the same problem on my 2004, i have no idea what it is.... but also the air wont blow through my vents in the dashboard well at all. I took it to the shop and they wanted $200 to check the problem, and then if it involved replacing parts they said it could be about $1300 total... yeah right! not happening, at least not yet until I find out exactly what it is
