I've been wanting to do a 2-3 inch leveling kit for my 2011 2500 w/CTD with new front springs to soften the ride. I have narrowed my choices down to Carly and Thuren. Many of the poster on this thread have choosen Thuren. Can I ask why you guys choose Thuren over Carly? What things should I consider between the two?

No sway bar during my install. That is next on the list. I forgot to mention that I also bought a Fox IFP steering stabilizer. When I received the shock I opening the fill port on the shock to make sure it had zero nitrogen in it.

Nice yeah I figured I will just do it all at once. Pretty much bullet proof my front end till ball joints go bad. I was going to go fox but just went with king as it we were just ordering from one place lol.

I've just heard good things about thuren and they are located in bend oregon and I am in Hillsboro oregon. Support local business was the deciding factor for me.

yep i try to support when i can. Also Thuren specializes in Ram suspension since 99 and added other trucks later. Carli is known for their off road parts as well.
it comes down to price as well and i think the average guy will choose Thuren as you are getting comparable parts and quality for a few hundred less.

I installed a thuren front spring/fox shock kit on my 2020 3500 cummins and it made a night and day difference. The springs were only a half an inch taller due to having factory bags. To anyone considering the kit, just do it. It's worth the wait.
