I just hung up with tech support at Thuren (great guys) and he is recommending the build yourself kit, 2" front springs, and 1/2" lowering springs in the rear. Thuren shocks and he said that the height will work for the wife, and ride quality would be greatly improved.

If you dont off road heavily, I would highly consider a set of power steps that swing down when the door opens. They are typically much lower than a normal rigid mounted side step, yet are tucked up out of sight when not in use.
Once I’m all set and and going I’m very curious to see if I need to ditch my amp steps:( won’t really know I till I get out and have some real fun though.

Their customer service is hands down the best. They even called and we had my kit shipped to my installer and they answer any and all questions.

I went with white knuckle sliders for there protection. They work decent as a step too, but sure would be nice to be able to finagle an AMP setup with them too lol.

Lets us know when they get it installed!

Thuren Fab definitely rides better than stock on the road. I installed my kit with my stock rims and tires originally and the biggest difference your gonna notice is going over expansion joints on the highway, speed bumps and potholes.

I originally had the Overland shocks all around, but have since upgraded the fronts to the regular Fox ifp shocks, those ride slightly better than the overlands. But I really did that more for looks.

If you do dump the AMPs, dump 'em my way...I'll be glad to take 'em off your hands if the price is right!

I have installed many of these kits. My last 2500 had it and it was amazing kit. I just had the overland kit. Leaps and bounds better. Off road was amazing. So much control. I could fly down dirt roads here in AZ that where washed away. Truck took them like a beast.

On road - it ate up all the bumps and washes. Can fly over them where I had to go slow before.

Thuren and the guys are outstanding. I know them and hung out with them. They stand behind their product 100%

^ Nice!!i relocated to az my self a little over a year ago, absolutely love it. You can register ur truck for 1,3,5 years and the longer you do it the cheaper it is. When we first moved my 14 mega cab 6.4 2500 , for 5 years it was just under what 3 years in Cali would of cost me, and when I traded it in I got a pro rated refund from the motor vehicle department here. Love this state.

I am in the East Valley of the Phoenix Area. I'd be almost 2 hours north of Tucson.

I had to go to Payson for work on Wednesday, was a decent drive from east side of Phoenix up to Payson.

Looks great! I've put a few thousand miles on my Thuren kit now and I'm extremely pleased with the ride and stance. If I'd have done research before buying my wheels and didn't have the rubbing issue I do I'd say it was near perfect but that has nothing to do with Thuren.
