That pic is with over 2500 pounds in the bed?!

It's a sheet metal coil about 3in think. It weights 1.63lbs per foot.

Yeah I am pretty bummed I thought it was going to be awesome but it wasn't I am not mad but they need to double check the 2022 trucks to make sure these work good.

Something is up and I am sure they will check it all out. The sad thing is I live 2hrs from them and offered to drive my truck over there on a Sat. They declined and said they should work. The 5th gens sit 2in lower in the back, the geometry is different from the 4th gen would be my guess. They are offering to pay shipping back and full refund. We tried everything we could but the ride still is not good I think the stock springs are better IMO. Who knows maybe they will call us back with a different set in a few months to try out.
Wow. A few hours away and they wont even let you drive over for a looksie?! Wtf.

Yeah I offered to drive and pay for my own fuel. If it was my product i would make it happen. I hate it when my product leave or is made wrong. They said they install on one truck which was a 21 and was awesome. They said they were puzzled as to what the issue was. If they don't want to trouble shoot this with me I'll just send them back and get my money back. It's not just me my buddy is my mechanic and I helped him install them and he even thinks something is wrong. We tried everything we know and same end results. We even switched my airbags to daystar cradles.

Yea i would be a little upset as well. I mean, when you pay good money to specifically get better ride quality and it dosnt do that…welllllllllll.

I am more pissed that their website description doesn't tell you 5th gens will get raised 2.5in over stock and they advertise big change over stock lol. Not even close to my experience, but oh well I guess. I bought some thuren king shock instead from a local guy lmao.

@olyelr @KKBB

So we once again loosened everything up and re-torqued, the springs actually are 75% better then what they were :banana-mario:. We are going to keep running them and i will install my king 2.5 shocks tonight. our friend works at the ram dealer and he is giving us keys to a 3500 on friday after noon to test drive so we can compare the 2 trucks. I am actully stoked they loosened up:happy107: .

After another couple thousand miles the have settled in. It's still a little bouncy here and there but getting better each week. I met up with another member from the forums @G. Mcpherson and he pretty much has his front end set up like mine and rear air bags with thuren fox 2.0. The difference from stock rear springs to thuren is noticeable and a lot softer ride. I installed the thuren shackles and put them on the 1/2in shackle settings. Compared to oem spring and shackles it will raise the rear 1in. On road you get some better performance and off road is where you really can tell the difference from stock. With these spring you will lose payload and will want air bags if you tow or haul heavy. It's hard to say if it was worth the $1200 for the upgrade as there is a lot of good but negative points as well. Now the difference from thuren fox 2.0 compared to thuren king 2.5 is a big difference as the rebound is a lot smoother.

Curious for updates, I just purchased a set for my 2019 3500, I was reading on reviews that one guy took a spring out of each pack for better results

It will make the ride better than stock. I read the same review I haven't done it because I don't want to lose even more payload. The springs are getting better everyday. Follow thuren torque values and not oem. Oem calls for 340lbs on front spring eye bolt and it caused these to bind. Use lots of good grease as you assemble and lots of grease after. Rear thuren shackles makes a lot of noise when not greased. With thuren shackles on 1/2in lower setting it will raise you up 1in over stock.

Just installed Thuren Leaf Springs along with thuren shackles and fox 2.0 shocks on a 2019 Ram 3500 crew cab long box Laramie. As stated they ride great from initial install, and placed eyebolts in the 1/2” drop settings. raised rear end about 1” over stock, tomorrow I will install front 1/2” lift coils and fox 2.0 .

After a few months and a few more thousand miles I am liking them a lot. I would suggest airbag you eill need them with and substantial weight.

I just turned 10,000 miles today well now 10,340 but the spring have broke in even more now and definitely a big improvement. I happened to be close to Bend Oregon today so decided to spot by thuren to get their input. They jumped in my truck and we took it for a quick drive. They said everything feels right and is spot on to how they are supposed to be. It was good talking with them and they took a lot of notes and some measurements of my truck to compare later. I got a bunch of free stickers and some pointers on my set up. I would say any company that gives you time out of their busy day like that is great and goes a long way.

Had to go pick materials up 1.5 hour drive each way. 2 coils 2,540lbs each had the air bags with 90psi in them. It was pretty damn stable going down the road. Turning and going off camber you knew you had that much weight in the bed. I have my headache rack and cross over tool box total 500lbs.
