I have 2010 Ram SLT with the 5.7. It just turned over 100,000 KMs . I have slight oil leaking from transmission and oil pan. So I'm going to take care of these issues, at the same time I'm thinking of installing the "Melling 10452HV" oil pump. So the big question is Does this bigger pump eliminate my engine ever developing the dreaded tick tick tick ? So can it be said definitively that low volume or low pressure has been the problem all along?

Truck is used 90% of the time for towing a 7K lbs travel trailer.

You do all you can, the rest is someone elses hands. That is the pump you want, or hellcat (Melling M452HV).

Doesn't do squat to put more oil on the lifters or cam lobe. The cam lobe and lifter wheel get their lube strictly from the oil flung off the crankshaft, there is no pressurized oil fed to either the lobe or lifter wheel. The cam lobe and lifter wheel are hung out in the open in the crankcase. You want more oil on those 2 critical parts, you need to up the idle rpm via tuning the engine to idle higher.
Spend 25 minutes and watch both these video's,and you'll know more about the hemi's oiling system then most people
