- Hemi 5.7 etorque
I have a 2022 ram 1500 5.7 with etorque. I was pulling in the garage yesterday and noticed a ticking noise coming from the wheel well area on the passenger side. Only makes the noise when it is warmed up and at an idle. It is rpm related. Bought the truck new and it has 15000 highway miles. Oil has been changed every 5000 miles. Is this the dreaded lifter failure? Love the truck, but will be disappointed if it already has engine problems. Going in to dealer in two weeks for appointment. Any thoughts?
