This seems very promising. Tim is the guy who gave us the hellcats in everything.

Detroit News reports RAM sales off 24% for first three quarters of 2024 compared to 2023. And probably about 40% since 2021. Hopefully he can inject some value and V8 performance back into the line again. And some good old fashion quality control couldn’t hurt either.

My 2022 Ram 3500 with the HO Cummins is nice. I've had a couple of minor issues with it. I thought I might look at getting a new Heavy Duty Ram. I was looking at the tube just for fun and saw that while I thought I was getting the most powerful truck, in fact Ford had come out with a 1200 ft/lb engine, tied to a 10 speed transmission. I know my truck is powerful, but I do like having the big dog on the road. No, I will not buy a Ford. I have owned Dodge since 1973. My truck has 1075 tied to 6 speed transmission. I'm looking at this and also seeing where Stellantis is having difficulty selling vehicles here in the States. My thinking is that Stellantis is at least three years behind the leading competitor. Tavares is out and apparently Mr. Kuniskis is back. I believe Stellantis is clueless when it comes to the US market. Hopefully Mr. Kuniskis will get the Dodge/Ram brands back in line with US demands especially since the all EV mandate is going where it belongs soon. Even an 8 speed transmission would be an improvement. I see what Stellantis has done over the last few years and I think of the recent Jaquar commercial calamity recently.

Hopefully he quickly takes care of the problems with the new 1500 and I6 and trans issues not to mention the short wiring harness trying to save money on wire. That is a real thing! There is talk and reports on that subject here on Ram Forum. Talked to a sales mgr i know personally he told me his truck either lost power or went into limp mode 14 times due to body role pulling on connectors and losing connectivity. How long will it take to get longer wiring harness into production? Will it even happen? Who knows. Surely he is aware of this issue and others effecting Ram trucks
