I have been looking on here and cannot find anything about if anyone has just put bigger tires on a 2020 Ram 2500 midnight edition with the air ride rear suspension. Has anyone just put bigger tires on their truck using the stock 20x8 wheels? If so, how big can I go, I’m looking to fill the fender wells without trimming. I could do the leveling kit but I think my truck sets high enough and I also pull a travel trailer as well. Thanks for the help.

Also, I will be upgrading shocks when it’s time to buy new tires.

A little bit wider, but more on the taller side. Just to fill out the fender well better.

I’d like to fit 285-65/20’s on it but not sure. They come out to about 34.5 tall and still only about 11.5 wide.

I would go 285/60 because its more of a common size and you'll save $30-40 per tire. 34" and they will go nice on an 8" wide wheel. Look up a few tires in the price point you want to spend and I can dial in a size for you

Forget what I said above your truck comes with 285/60's I just looked it up, assuming you have the 20's

Lol, yeah that’s what I have on there now. I had those coopers on my last truck and loved them. I’m pretty sure that’s what will go on this truck as well. Thanks

@Arena30 Toyo open country AT 3 295/65 would be the step up you'll want. they are a 35x12 and will not rub. That would be a huge improvement and their cost is still reasonable. I run them on my truck in a 325/60 so i do practice what I preach

35-12.50’s don’t rub at all? Also, how far will they stick out? I’m trying to stay tucked in the fender well, I’m not a big fan of the 2-3 inches of tire hangin outside the fender. Lol

Your right I think I’d like the 295-65/20’s better.

they wont stick out with factory wheels. That would be a nice upgrade and Nick can hook you up with upgraded shocks. I highly recommend the fox 2.0's

He made a thread in our vendor area and I gave him 3 options and the one you recommend is the EXACT option I recommended out of all of them!
