Not really, mandatory by feds to my knowledge.

My 11 works radically with aftermarket sensors. When I went to OEM sensors it worked perfectly. I'm not certain what your troubles are but if you're using aftermarket sensors on 11 suggest you might start there.

Sensors change mid-13 model year so mid-13 down are at 433 megahertz mid 13 up or at 3:15 megahertz well here's being an 11 I'm assuming you're at 433

Thanks for that. I am having issues with the sensors and don’t want to buy more of them so hoping to eliminate them if possible.

I wound up wearing the middle tread on my new rear tires way too soon, I found out you can be %15 lower or higher so lowered the rears to 70psi and no premature wear going on now.

Not sure about you're 2011,but we deleted the tire pressure sensors on my 2014 with AlphaObd. Used my buddies set-up in Edmonton,as i haven't actually sprung for the Alpha set-up.I was tired of looking at the light everytime i had the drag radials on the truck.

Look into the tazer. I believe you can turn it off with that. I say believe because I never looked at it specifically for the ram But I had one on my charger and you could turn it off on the charger

Yep, I turned mine off in alfaOBD. I had the rears die a few years ago, replaced them and the fronts decided to go. Got tired of it. It's not like this thing is on 30 series tires or anything.

I just took the sensors out of my tires in my 2012 and the light disappeared after a few minutes never to come back.

No need to turn anything off in the older models. It will do it on its own once the sensors are out of range.
