I keep my rear tires a little lower than the front when I am unloaded, both for ride and wear purposes. My pressure warning light came on when a cold front came through a couple weeks ago. Unfortunately I was on a trip and it refused to go out even when ambient temperatures warmed up so annoyed me for 4+ hours.

The interesting thing is the warning said to inflate them to 50 psi; that's the tire's max inflation, the door sticker says 36 psi.

Not sure what pressure you keep your tires at. I have Michelin's on my truck.....I run all tires at 38 psi.....even when towing......max inflation is also 50psi. Got 41K miles from origial Bridgestones......decided to go with better tires.....I bet I will see 60 to 70K on this set. I do rotate every 5 to 6K. Not sure bout your light.....sorry.

I currently run the recommended 36 psi in front and I had the rears around 32 or so, I don't remember for sure, but that dropped with the cold weather to around 30 triggering the warning. My previous Ford was really bouncy in back so the lower pressure helped a bit. I've upped it to 35 and it's fine. Door stickers are spec'd to allow the max load the truck is rated to carry so we shouldn't need to go higher, although better a little high than low when loaded. I don't tow with it yet, my previous Rams that I towed with were a 2500 and 3500 with load range E tires and I used the tire mfg load-inflation tables to make sure I had high enough pressure.

Before I changed my thresholds with alfaobd to get the warning light to go off (get rid of it) I had to air my tires up to 80psi (2500) then drop them back down to what I wanted that wouldn't set off the light. So you'll probably have to do the same. Air them up to what it wants. Let it see that you did and then lower them to your desired pressure within the limits of your system.

I have read several places that the limits cannot be changed anymore with the OBD, starting with the 2023 model I believe. My door and my manual both call for 75 (F) and 80 (R), towing or not for all driving condition up to GAWR. If my PSI falls below 64 PSI, my TPMS flashes and it dings at me non-stop until I air them back up to 80 and start over again.

See post #6 in that thread. Hopefully that will help ya out.

I myself am not too familiar with the newer trucks. Hell I think my 16 tradesman has too much electronic wizardry in it lol

I have LT E-range Michelin LTX M/S on my truck and run 40psi (cold checked and adjusted) in the front and rear and have zero issues.

Perfect wear and a smooth balanced & controlled ride.

Good to know, thanks!

Do the old school chalk test on your tires. To summarize, start at the max inflation pressure and lower the pressure in increments until you find the pressure where the chalk wears off the tread when driving. When the chalk wears off the whole width of the tread, that's the optimal tire pressure. Obviously, that will change with changing the load.

I usually air up to 40psi with the OEM Bridgestone's while still warm. In the morning when cold, they usually show around 36 - 37psi.
